The Carrier expansion!

Hey everyone! The Carrier expansion is live on Kickstarter. This beautifully illustrated expansion adds to your existing Infected game with new cards, dice, and even a new miniature!

In The Carrier, new Raven cards can be added to Villager hands. If you receive an infection card of any kind, you now MUST pass a Raven card on your next turn, so the infection from the Plague Doctor spreads!

We wouldn't leave you defenseless, however. A Huntress is here to protect you, as she is immune to the ravens. And a powerful Apothecary makes extra vaccinations for your fellow Villagers.

The Silent Villager makes a return, as her miniature moves around the table and silences a new Villager each round from making a guess as to whom the Plague Doctor is.

More new cards and abilities await you in The Carrier, with additional stunning art by Artur Jag and Lindsey Kustusch, funding now on Kickstarter. Come meet the Blacksmith, the Priest, the Huntress, the Apothecary, the new powerful Plague Doctor, the Sinister Villager, and more, each with their own powerful abilities.

The Carrier, The Villagers, and BGGcon

Hey everyone! This is a very exciting Update!!   3 things:

1. The Carrier has a Kickstarter date: May 30, 8:30am central time. This is the expansion for your Infected game!

2. Announcing “The Villagers”, a werewolf/mafia type social deduction game.

3. BGGcon Spring, May 25-28.

1) The Carrier is an expansion for your existing Infected game, and it launches on Kickstarter May 30 at 8:30am central time. The Carrier adds new characters, abilities, and chain reactions to the game. New characters and cards, a new dice, and yes, even a new Silent Villager miniature! Get ready for the Plague Doctor and his minions, returning to your village.

2) The Villagers is an exciting social deduction game based in the world of Infected. In the vein of werewolf or mafia, the Plague Doctors will try to infect someone every night, while the Villagers are trying to find the Plague Doctors. Incredibly illustrated for 6 to 23 players, The Villagers has new character abilities which you haven’t seen before. 

Villagers must use their combined powers as Huntress, Blacksmith, Apothecary, Sentries, or the Elder, among many other characters to ensure the safety and future of their homes. Exile a new player each day, but beware, as new infections plague your village each night. The Villagers will come to Kickstarter after The Carrier.

In this very special Update, we will introduce the new expansion for Infected, and we also have a How to Play video from Cardboard Rhino!!!

Here is your first look at Infected: The Carrier.

 

The Carrier is the expansion for Infected, and introduces new characters, abilities, and chain reactions.

The Plague Doctor brings his Ravens with him, and now they too carry the infection. As a Villager, you can begin the game with a Raven card. If you are passed an infection card from the Plague Doctor, you MUST pass your Raven card on your next turn. The Raven carries an infection to a fellow Villager!

 

We wouldn’t leave you defenseless, however. The Huntress is one of the new characters you can begin the game with, and she is immune to infections from Ravens.

 

 The tough Blacksmith can also survive one infection even without a vaccination.

 

The Plague Doctor, however, has become stronger, and now has a powerful new double infection (one for this round, and another for the next round as well, should you somehow survive the first infection)!

 

An Apothecary has heard of your troubles, and is coming to help. She is able to give a double vaccination to protect you: one this round, and another for next round. Will this be enough to help you survive the worst of the Bubonic Plague? Only time will tell.

 

 Other villagers are coming to your aid, as well as a new dice which gives the possibility of not only infection and safety, but also of vaccination. Use it wisely!

Expansion and new "Mafia" type social deduction game

The world of Infected is expanding. Not only will there be an expansion for Infected, but an entirely new "mafia" type social deduction game is born from the art. More information on both games coming soon.

Shipping is beginning!

Hi everyone!  Just a quick Update to let you know that shipping is beginning from the hubs into your local posts!

The hub in the USA began picking and packing on Friday, and it will continue all this week. The hub in Germany (HappyShops) is working as hard as they can, and with the big Essen Game Fair going October 26 to 29, their crew will be pretty bare bones, so won't get much done before then. After Essen, that depot will be back on track full throttle to ship out everything.

I'm really excited to see the games out in the wild. I hope you can get the games to your table soon! 

REMEMBER:

1. When possible, use a Plague Mask when opening the game.

2. If that's not possible, have a doctor on hand. 

3. If that's not possible, have the wheelbarrow at ready.
